Ever since it’s launch back in 2003, the Seamaster Aqua Terra has been a staple in Omega’s collection. It represents a sea-faring watch that isn’t quite as serious as a dive watch but with a 150m water resistance, it can handle anything a non-diver would want to do in the ocean. In 2017, Omega overhauled the look of the Seamaster Aqua Terra and added on the Master Chronometer certification for the collection. If you’re a fan of the Aqua Terra or just considering to add one to your collection, you’ll be happy to know Omega has added two new colours for 2020.
As for the watch itself, it is the same Aqua Terra from 2017, complete with the horizontal “teak” pattern, inspired by the wooden decks of luxury sailboats. Now available in a deep blue or an olive green dial, both watches will be available in either a leather strap in a colour to match the dial or a stainless steel bracelet.
As for the movement, you’ll be getting the Omega Calibre 8900 which is Master Chronometer certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). And as with all Omega watches purchased from 1 July 2018 onwards, it comes with a 5-year international warranty.
The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M will be available at a retail price of MYR 21,500 with a leather strap or MYR 22,800 on a stainless steel bracelet.
