If the fashion world is any indication, luxury and streetstyle can now coexist quite happily these days. That being said, a fine balance still needs to be struck between the two worlds so one will not overpower the other. And this latest collaboration between Swiss watchmakers Bell & Ross and Japanese clothing label A Bathing Ape (BAPE) is a great example of that.
In order to celebrate their 25th anniversary, BAPE worked Bell & Ross to create a special limited edition collection of watches that reflect both brands’ affinity for military inspired designs. And the watch they have chosen for this collaboration is the BR03-92 – which is their 42mm sized watch – offering two special editions to fans.
The first is the
that comes in an ape’s head printed on a black dial at 6 o’clock and ultra-phosphorescent green numbers. Limited to only 25 pieces, the watch will come with two strap options; one is a black rubber strap with BAPE’s iconic character – engraved and hand-filled with lacquer, while the other is a leather printed with BAPE’s trademark grey camo.
The next is the BR03-92 Green Camo that as the name suggests combines Bell & Ross’ signature design lines with the original green pattern BAPE camo on its dial.
These models are available on BAPE’s retail network and in selective Bell & Ross’ boutiques.
